Because Gifts of Art Rock My World...

March 4, 2006

Oh! And before I put it off any longer, since I meant to do this much, MUCH earlier but slacked off on the Tweak Speak updates... ^^; I have several thank yous for some kind artists on Deviant who dedicated some of their artwork to me over the last few months...

First of all, there was PZB, with a drawing that left me in a total mess of melty Kuro goo all over the living room floor when I got the original in the mail. Becuase PZB's art has always left me spellbound, but to have an original from her, especially one as beautiful as this, was just beyond priceless.

And then ALM, who drew me a gorgeous Joukasareta Inu a few months ago, again stunned me with this lovely (and verry sexxeh!) Holiday Hanyou. :D

Here's Nillia's fiery-hot Celebration of the Fire Dog Year, which features Inuyasha looking quite a bit Ranma-esque with the Chinese clothing and braided hair, but it's Yasha through-and-through. And how can I resist such gorgeously-drawn muscles? Heehee.

And I coudn't ever forget my dearest "Daddy!" (very inside joke from when we knew each other years ago... *LOL*) Angie, who has drawn me SO MUCH KICKASS ARTWORK!! I loves t3h Angie, I do! ^_^ Heehee, that one of me as the wolf-dragon sure brings back memories!! *LOL*

A hilarious tribute to Chapter 392 ("Peaceful Table"), which is one of my personal favorites, drawn up by Melzilla. XD Whose name I love... And I still love that pigeon, mel. Hehehe!!

People know how evil art-thieving can be. But what's worse is that it makes Baby Kagome cry!! And you don't want baby Kagome to cry, now do you? ;_;! This was from bagsybabe, whose love for classic Takahashi (Maison Ikkoku and Urusei Yatsura, anyone?) is always a joy. Hehe.

Thank you so much to everyone! *big hugs* ^_^

And again, thank you to everyone who has been writing in about the site. Sorry if I haven't written back to you; it's been a busy few months. I really appreciate hearing from everyone, though. Thank you! ^_^

Becuase Kappei Said So...

March 3, 2006

So Kappei wrote in his blog that in Shibuya, if you look at the OIOI bilding (OIOI being a department store that is rather prevalent here), you can see a "robot." Y'know... like one of those little wind-up tin robots...?

Well, I frequent Shibuya on a regular basis, so I figured, "Hey, let's see if there's any resuidual Pei Presence® left behind, and let's see if I've got as good an imagination as he does... or something." ^_^ So I went to Shibuya in search of this so-called "OIOI robot."

I'll be damned. He's right.

BEHOLD T3H SHIBUYA OIOI-ROBOT!!!1!ONE
Well, not that I doubted the boy, but...

Yes, Jen, I know I'm a freak. You can stop laughing at me now. XD

Buh, but in any event, the weather here has been completely, like, bi-polar or something because it friggen' changes by the day. One day it's "non-jacket" weather, the next day they're forecasting snow. Or flurries, at least.

Which reminds me... I was really hoping to get some snow in Tokyo this year. And fortunately, earlier in January, we got a day of snowy weather, which made me giddy and hyper.

Of course, a few days later I came down with the requisite sore-throat-and-cold that has lasted pretty much all February, in that I STILL haven't shaken the cough fully, but meh. Them's the breaks. XP I still love snow.
